Neil Armstrong was born on August 5, 1930 in Wapakoneta, Ohio.He was the son of Stephen Koenig Armstrong and Viola LouiseEngel, his family was of German origin and spent his childhood indifferent locations because their father was auditor of the State ofOhio.
